i'm jus bck frm a bogus job interview (storie will b illustrated/elaborated later on) yest morning...had anoth interview on Tues. the 1st interview (on Tues) was quite alrite...it was a Logistics n Financial smtg kinda firm (an import n export trading Co.) situated somewhere in Chinatwn. if i'm successful, i'll b getting a call sometime nxt wk 2go 4the 2nd interview -_-!!! i.e. (again) if i'm successful ;) i'm nt. bery confident abt tt...judging/considering tt it was my veri 1st interview...din ans. realli well...sorta stammered my way thru actualli, hehe~ + was asked some Logistics terms [wat LC terms lah~ n oth terms which i've obviously 4gotten...the moment after the interviewer had said/mentioned abt 'em, hehe ;p] which i've no inkling of (donno wat the HELL they r *sigh* but of cuz, i'm willing 2learn lah...which the interviewer had asked...n i shld've said so myself =s). h/w ovrall, it was stil quite a pleasant process/session...realli hope tt i'll get the job (n_n) (do i?? hehe...lotsa conflicting tots, huh~) wish mi luck manz!! nw, here cums the BIGGEST scam of all time!!! (slightly exaggerated :p) as the prev interview had gone quite smoothly, i was expecting some sort of the same thing the day b4. but alas, i was wrong [da(4) cuo(4) te(4) cuo(4)]! it was anything BUT / an entire diff situatn al2gether. i gt. conned BIG TIME!! ok, so let's bcktrack a little (rewind)...on Mon, when i saw the small little job ad in the pps, i tot tt it was some kind of a small pte firm. h/w, i was willing 2gif it a shot. the ad merely stated the job position (smtg Exec) the firm was looking 4 n it's requiremts. dere wasnt any mention of the Co's name nor the nature of the job scope watsoeva. a few hrs later after i'd emailed my resume 2'em, i rec'd a call [the 1st 4 digits of the office no. were/looked familar (6***)...oso~ the building tt i was tld 2go 2 rang a bell, but i din thnk 2much of 'em, which led 2my ultimate misfortune dereafter =(] 2go dwn 4an interview the following day. h/w, as i oredi had an interview planned/arranged, it was pushed bck / postponed 2yest. i muz say...i felt mighty/pretti pleased of myself den...but hw was i 2noe tt things wld turn out the way it did / 2b so urghhhhh! i was so horrified as i neared the familiar building yest, which intensified when i reached the office. it turned out 2b an INSURANCE COMPANY *omigod~* i nearly fainted! i shant name names here less i get implicated. dis is case-sensitive...i dunsh wanna b/get sued in court!! 2dose hu dunsh oredi noe, y'll can guess 4urself...anywae, the rest tt followed was crap all the way...... everytime i rejected the Co's job offer, dere was anoth round of persuasion. tt happened twice or thrice, which gt. mi so irritated n fed-up...arghhh. 1stly, the interviewer tried 2impress mi wif the high i/c (commissioned-based fees) tt they earned. PLS LOR~ i've heard dis kind of rubbish/nonsense b4 when i was wrking part-time wif/@ S n N (esp. the latter). i dunsh believe it anymore!! i'm nt. so gullible [rong(2) yi(4) shou(4) pian(4)] le lor...... i din earn anything after 5 days of hardwrk wat~ so dunsh cum n tell mi tt i'll get rewarded 4my effort made n nt. the Co. yar...effort...as in securing biz mah! so wat do i get if i cant get the custs?? i eat grass?! C'MON, i'm nt. the aggressive type lor!! grrrrrr...... the interviewer even took/toured mi ard the office...wat 4?!!! it jus bloody hell wasted my time sia~ (>_<*) failing tt, he (the interviewer) resorted 2telling mi tt a TV celeb was their colleague n was in tt office @ tt time/mo...n if i liked, i cld go n ask her some qns -_-!!! as if it's of any use!! i shook my head vigorously/vehemently...no, 10Q...unless of cuz, Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan was ur colleague, lolz~ dunsh get mi wrong...contrary 2my harsh words, i dunsh realli hate my interviewer on a personal lvl lah. in fact, i find him quite a decent n sincere guy (well~ i may b wrong abt tt...i've been wrong mani times b4), actualli~ btw, he's a manager...... it's jus tt i realli wish ALL insurance agents outdere wld leave mi alone...pls dunsh cum n bug mi anymore...... i do noe of some frens hu've oso some bad/rotten experiences / run-ins wif 'em...hurmph! :@ more fashion, heh (^_^)~   a beauty queen =D   little RED riding hood, hee~  in pastel yellow,  blue...  ...n green (note: the same top orh~) [i've a feeling tt Kate will like dis kind of lacey top, hehe :)]   omg! u noe i jus lurve the pink shorts wif the polka dots ribbon manz...my fave of the day, hehee~ *big wide smile*  i like dis white, spaghetti lacey top too (n_n) ...though the necklace [the main zhu(2) jiao(3)] is realli wat they're trying 2advertise here, hehe =P Posted by Jasmine Ho Si Hui at |
