(amazingly beautiful anime pics!) brought to you by Quizilla  BLUE ??Which colour of Death is yours?? brought to you by Quizilla ntg much happened dis wk...jus tt i went 4a Haagen-Dazs meal wif Mx, Br n Nick (aka Nic, hehe ; p) on Mon afternn. on Thurs afternn after Law lesson, i was so suay as 2trip/stumble in front of Roy while going up the steps in the lect rm, as i was heading 2wards the door 2leave, hehe. as usual, he said 一些有的没的 [he was teasing mi ; )]. sometimes, i thnk he's the onli 1 hu's willing 2entertain/acknowledge mi in klass...except mabbe 4Kenny. i mean Kenny is jus frenly 2wards mi lah. h/w, i'm nt. saying tt oths r rude or unfrenly or anything...aiya~ i realli donno wat i'm saying lar~/manz (我真的不知道我在 讲/说 什么), hehe. i realise tt Eunice (a Capricornian), Kate (a Piscean), Mx (a Virgoan) n i (a Cancerian) r all earth n water signs. both Capricorn n Virgo r earth elements whereas the oth 2, Pisces n Cancer, r water elements. no wonder we're so gd (gam1) 2gether / in 1 another's co. haha...i'm jus crapping here lah : D btw, earth n water mix well while fire n air complement each oth : ) i've finalli watched finish the HK drama "War n Beauty" ("金枝玉孽"). yes, i was addicted 2yet another show~ which my mum borrowed the burned vcds frm her fren/colleague 1, hee~ dere r 30 epis/discs in all lor! nw, i can realli devote my time 2wrking on my Law assignmt, which is due on 31st Mar, n studying 4the cuming Stats test on the 15th Mar liao~ hehe. anywae~ the drama is realli superb lor! it's veri, veri nice = ) h/w, i dun quite like the ending lah, which is full of tragedies again, hehe. it's realli (真的是)越看越悲哀 2wards the end...haizz~ but the process (过程) of the show is nvrtheless nice : ) all the chars in the drama r bad. well~ almst, except mabbe 4 1 or 2 servants (奴才), hehe. oh yar, i 4got 2mention tt the storie takes place in the palace (皇宫)...后宫 2b exact. hence, dere r mani evil plots (暗算)、勾心斗角、互相争宠 betw. the empress (皇后) n concubines (妃子)、贵人、秀女...the emperor's wives literally...thruout the show. dis is 1 of the 卖点 of the drama, i thnk...so exciting!!! hehe. h/w, the evilness is a bit too exaggerated (夸张) le, i feel. the chars 也未免 thnk 2much (想太多) le ba. u will neva noe hu realli treat the oths well/gd. the person tt 1 is targeting (对付ing) @ will onli b revealed much later, after someone is hurt / loses. they will cum as a surprise 2u. or mabbe it's cos i use a simple mind 2watch lah, hehe. but dis is the appeal of the show mah...2guess, guess, guess which char is the most/more evil, clever (冰雪聪明??) 1, n whose eyes r the larger/largest (眼睛最大) (when they're staring @ 1 another), hehe. it turns out tt the empress is the most wicked 1 / of the lot in the end. underneath the chars' nice facade lies a wicked heart but under all the wickedness, dere is a different, unique sad storie in everyone's 内心深处. hmmm...so wat do i make of dis? does dis reflect 人生 (in the real world / reality)? 正所谓 “戏如人生，人生如戏” ma...do i find myself turning into 1/a hypocrite too?? dese r the things tt i'm pondering...but i shld get out frm/of the storie, 虚拟的世界 soon, hehe. my fave char is the palace doctor (御医), 孙大人 (the younger 1, hehe ; p), played by 林保怡, hu is the/a gd person thruout (有始至终). in addition, he's a veri devoted/loyal (痴情) man...or it can b said tt he's veri stupid (傻)...2the woman he luvs = ) another thing~ as the show is in Cantonese which i dun understand, i can onli read the (traditional) Chi subtitles (繁体字) 2noe wat the drama is all abt. dis is ok cos it has always been dis wae when i'm watching Jap n sometimes, Korean shows. h/w, the lang. is veri, veri chim lor! it's all in 文原文...wat 成语、谚语 n 俗语 lah~ until i've a hard time catching up wif wat the chars r saying. b4 i read finish dis/a hard sentence, dere cums another difficult 1 [conversation (对白)], hehe. ok, here's some picys of/frm the drama...n i shall get bck 2my revision~ : ) 侯玉宝, played by Gigi Lai (黎姿) = )  华贵人 : )  假如，我们彼此的付出是真实的......   别怕，我就在你身边      during happier times...  when things turn evil...     end~ = ) Posted by Jasmine Ho Si Hui at |
