*curtain draws* woohoo~ applause! hehehe... i'm having a/1 wk break frm sch (dun ask mi y...i oso donno, the timetable saes so, heh). well~ i've been busi...watching dou yu (The Outsiders) [a Taiwan ou xiang ju (idol drama)], all tks 2Kw, hehe. [dere's going 2b a review of the drama later on @ the later part (end) of dis entry, so keep a lookout 4it, hee~] i muz realli buck up manz. i need 2revise my studies n start on my assignment (although the deadline isnt any dae nw) real soon. the guilt of slacking n nt. studying is realli eating mi up. yest, i went 4a klunch session @ Toa Payoh Kbox wif Mx. it was nice singing, although the mics gave us a little bit of prb (it muz b Kw cursing us, haha). the lunch tt Toa Payoh Kbox provided was nice. we tried the fried udon noodles tt came wif a mixture of seafood [prawns, crabmeat (i thnk), sotongs n fish etc.], n fruits [2 slices of honeydew in dis case : )]. the set of lunch cost us $6 each. our entire ktv bill totalled 2$15.15 (y am i revealing so much/dese details anywae? hehe). we ate the rotiboy buns again after our ktv session too = ) mm hmm... den later, we went 2dis LARGE [possibly the biggest branch in town (meaning SG)] "This Fashion" shop/boutique @ Paya Lebar. Mx was supposedly the 1 hu was shopping 4Chi New Yr clothes lor, but in the end, i was the 1 hu bought 1 more clothe dan her. haiz...expected rite? hehe. i bought a black top n a light pink skirt [we bought the same skirt = )]. we had a bite (dinner 4mi) @ Mac (yummy twister fries~) dere n 2end the dae, i bought the xian liang zhen cang ban (limited edition special package) dou yu vcds! i bought the vcds cos i haf prb burning the 1s tt Kw lent mi, n "TS Group" (the vcd shop) is having a sale. the dou yu vcds r selling cheap @ $22.90 4 14 discs (20 epis). the original price was $39.90. the difference betw. the xian liang zhen cang ban n the normal package is tt the former casing is a hard, metal box meant 4collection, while the latter casings (gt. vols 1 n 2) r jus cardboard pp, which can b torn somewat easily. i feel so hapi/glad 2haf bought the vcds, esp. when i saw the tag "GET REAL, BUY ORIGINAL (meaning dese r the original vcds) ", hehe. so dere, Kw~ ; p okie, here's my REVIEW OF "DOU YU (THE OUTSIDERS)" : ok lah Kw, i admit tt dis is a veri nice show (i'm recommending it 2my mum, hehe). i like it cos the jie zou is veri fast (it's fast-paced) unlike most oth ou xiang ju, b it Taiwanese, Korean or Japanese. an e.g. of a veri sloow Taiwan drama wld b the 1st (roughly) 9 epis of hai tun wan lian ren (@ the dolphin bay). dou yu is veri exciting, wif new twists n turns 2the plot, some of which i neva/din expect, like "Hong Dou's death". h/w, i thnk i prefer the front/beginning part of the drama, when the leading characters were stil skooling. the characters were more pure, innocent n naive den. dose daes were more hao3 wan2 (fun). the later part of the drama depicts the harsh, ruo rou qiang shi society/world. the plot bcums more hei1 an4 (dark), complicated n cruel, which i dun like, hehe. h/w, i guess it's all part of the package. onli wif dese complex n brutal twists n turns 2the storie will they make the show more exciting. furthermore, the songs (frm the drama) r veri nice, esp. "Lydia" by F.I.R. oth yue er dong ting (melodious/lovely) songs include "bu gong ping" by Jenny Yang (i donno hu she is) (although i dun wanna like dis song cos it reminds mi of Vince, hu played the song everydae, everytime during my 2 mths stay @ MBB), the song sung by Guo Ping(3) Chao(1), the male leading character, n 2 Eng songs (which tend 2play in my mind everytime). funnie, after watching dou yu, i dun like (i dun hate too) Guo Ping Chao but (i like) dis oth guy, Zhang Xun(1) Jie(2), hehehe. i thnk he has dis shuai4 ge1 liu2 mang2 (cute~ gangster) look, hee~ ; p he played dis funnie/humorous/hua2 ji1 guy/joker, Ah Qi [Ge(1) ; p], in the drama. he always make mi laff [esp. when Hong Dou n Ah Qi (a couple) da qing ma qiao, hehe]. oh btw, he's featured (the male lead) in F.I.R's "wo men de ai" mv = ) he's 1.82m tall n a Taurean {sama as Roy...i dun mean anything 1 hor, jus suddenly remember tt he's oso a Taurean, tt's all [Roy is veri tall too : )]}, hee~ (i'm going crazzee, dun mind mi, hehe). another male leading character is played by Lan Zhen(4) Long(2). h/w, Shan(4) Zi (the character) seems a tad dull compared 2Yu(2) Hao(4) (aka Ah Hao aka Hao Ge) (the main lead, played by Guo Ping Chao) n Ah Qi. but dis is jus hw the character/he is supposed 2b. Shan Zi is the brain of the trio/jie2 bai4 xiong1 di4. Kw saes dou yu II is even nicer [he's watching currently/nw...has 5 more discs 2go, the last time we spoke ovr the phone (yest nite)]. he saes the plot is veri gd. i cant wait (4Kw 2lend mi the vcds) ! hehe. esp. when Luo Zhi Xiang (aka Xiao Zhu) n Zhang Xun Jie r acting in the drama, hehee~
