(of all the gifts, his is the most ex 1 incidentally). i'm quite surprised/shocked actualli, hehe. i mean he doesnt haf a special place in my heart mah. he's jus a colleague...] a dark navy blue Van Heusen biz shirt 4Vince @ "Robinsons" Raffles City - $33.90 (after a sales discount...the original price was $60+) plus some sweets n stuff... Zane n Steff r sharing the costs of the presents (4our colleagues) wif mi. oh yar, Michelle bought mi a pair of butterfly earrings (which r quite unique too) @ "Agis" or "Ajis" Marina Sq 4 $16 after a sales discount, 4my X'mas gift. yay, biao jie wan sui! hee~ i'm oso wearing dose 2the X'mas eve dinner = > in rtn, i shared the cost of a black flowy skirt tt she bought, which was $40. den on Mon, i went 2Hougang Mall after wrk 2buy the exchange gift 4the X'mas eve dinner n other barangs barangs. incidentally, the exchange gift exceeds the $10-$15 budget by quite a lot. h/w, it's ok lah~ i feel tt i wld rather get gd, quality present(s) 4my frens oth dan dose ultimate strangers in my wrkplace lor. i feel so stupid all of a sudden. the quiz (i took it last time, if u remember...) was rite, i'm a dumb gal : ( I MEAN DERE'S A GAPING HOLE IN MY SAV ACC RITE NW LOR!!! i haf more $ (ard $400 more) in my sav acc dan b4 i started wrk, seriously. so where has all my earnings gone2? wat haf i been doing? i thnk dere is no need 4mi 2spell it out rite? hehe. i spent the $ on daily exp. n shopping (4myself n oth) lor... Zane's bf, Ron, said tt she (i guess it's the same as referring 2mi too, hehe) is being veri stupid. as temp staffs, we onli earn $5/hr lor, n yet we spend so much on the perm staffs. he said tt after we've left 4 1 mth, the perm staffs will 4get abt us de lor [mabbe less so 4Steff n i, cos i thnk they'll remember Steff as the LOUD gal (haha) n i've wrked in MBB b4 mah, so they'll haf a more lasting impression of mi], hehe. YA LOR~ y r we being so silly? Zane said 2mi on the bus dis morning tt i dui Vince hen hao (treat him veri gd...). but i onli jus gif him a cake, card n gift mah...plus all the ideas came frm Steff. Zane oso said (i thnk yest) tt it's like we're gifing the perm staffs presents in rtn 4their bullying (i'll go into tt later). while assisting in wrapping the gifts (my whole family members all chu1 dong4 in helping mi 2wrap the gifts n sweets...) yest, my dad oso said tt they (the perm staffs) 'll surely laff @ us when we gif 'em the "big" presents. they'll laff @ us 4being so silly, i thnk... let's c wat they'll gif us in rtn, if any, hehe. well~ a reason y i suddenly kinda regret in buying gd stuff 4my colleagues is cos i recently jus found out abt the real office politics in BPSS/SMPD. haiz, i feel so xin1 han2 (which literally means, my heart turns cold)... i realise tt Vince doesnt realli like Law n Richard Koh cos he kinda xian2/look dwn on their wrking capability lidat. Vince said tt all they noe hw 2do is ppwrk stuff...n ntg else (but they're both quite new in BPSS mah...). he even described Law as "kuku (stupid)" he said tt Law acts n looks stupid (er...a tiny little bit true lah, hehe...but he makes up 4dis in being veri hardwrking mah). another reason y Vince doesnt like (he neva admits so...) Law is tt he thnks Law bios gals wif the chance tt his gf is miles away studying in UK (a misunderstanding lah, i thnk). "i wanna knk his head arh..." Vince tld mi via msn. {2divert a little away frm the topic, i thnk tt Vince is quite gossipy ("38"), slack (u all oredi noe dis), irresponsibe (mabbe), has quite a big ego (hen ai mian zi) etc (haha)... h/w, he does haf his +ve side. i thnk he's veri filial n he dotes on his sis n family = > in addition, he has a soft spot 4gals (er...is dis a gd or bad pt.? hehe) i thnk i'm getting ovr him, btw~ i feel so sian 2dae all of a sudden.} P.S. oh yar! Vince oso sorta mentioned tt Derek is a bckstabber. he said tt Derek "xiao li cang dao" 1 after i mentioned tt Derek is veri quiet. ok, let's tok abt the office politics in SMPD: Zane, Steff n i thnk tt Susan (hu is the same rank as Wanling, 2nd 2tt of Angie, head of SMPD) is leading the herd [Xiao Jas, Jas Lim, Christy (they're all 38s n bckstabbers, i thnk)] 2dislike/outcast Wanling. h/w, Wanling is nt. entirely a simpleton either...... haiya~ i donno...i veri confused/blur/headache. hu exactly, is/r the real bad/rotten eggs/apples lei? looking @ hw Xiao Jas smiles so sweetly @ Wanling, we're realli quite amazed/shocked 2find out tt she doesnt like Wanling. Jas Goh, hu is oso in the same dept, doesnt tok much 2Susan's herd too. h/w, i thnk Selene or Celine is the nicest lah~ she's realli so sweet~ n pretti, hehe : p wat's certain is tt SUSAN IS DEFINITELY THE WORST OF THE LOT/ROTTEN EGGS/BAD APPLES LOR! so wat if she's pregnant? she doesnt rule the world! she jus transferred ovr 2SMPD/MBB frm OCBC btw~ i mean HW DARE SHE BULLY MY FREN, STEFF, hehe. i feel tt i'm quite lucky actualli...i dun get dis kind of dai4 yu4 in BPSS 1. luckily my dept is made up of guys, n the onli gal, Lee Choo, is a hao ren (gd person), hehe. CS, where i oso wrked in last time, is free of such "pollution" too. i repeat, i'm realli lucky. actualli, even if dere is smtg going on, i oso wun noe/realise it cos i can b quite blur/in-my-own-world/dun-realli-care sometimes, hehe. as Steff says of mi, "zhong yao de (dong xi) ni mei you ting dao, bu zhong yao de (dong xi) ni ye mei you ting dao" (everytime, hehe). P.S. Zane said tt Susan is the kind of person hu bckstabs her wae~ up. i thnk she may be rite. mani ppl in the rm, esp. in SMPD, r jia ren jia yi 1 lor. cos of dis, i feel somewat disgusted staying in the same rm wif dese ppl. argh. dis is onli a small office lor. it onli represents a small part of the real world/society. wat abt the bigger co./enterprise? i thnk i cant/will nt. da han 1. i thnk it's so xin ku 2b pitting ur wits agst oth ppl's n having xin li zhan (which literally means a battle of the hearts, hehe) all the time, unlike Xiao Jas, hu, according 2Steff, thnks it/dis is exciting. !!!
