i was prepared 2laze ard @ hm last Sun, 31 Oct 04,...slping, watching tv n transferring music files 2my newly bought mp3 player (hehe). h/w, my cousin called in the afternoon 2jio mi out cos she wanted 2haf a haircut. hence, i went 2meet up wif her @ Wisma after her haircut. on the way dere, i met Peilin by chance @ Dobhy Ghaut (how do u spell dis anywae) Mrt Station. Peilin is my long-time pri sch best fren. i donno whether she is stil considered my best fren now cos we havent contacted each other 4quite a while. we onli meet up once in a blue moon. as usual, she looked immaculate. her makeup was flawless. like wat Br said, she looked like someone hu had done a lot of things 2her face. everytime when i go out wif her, i wld take special care 2put on my best attire n apply full makeup, or else i wld feel out-of-sorts bside her. hehe. h/w, when i saw her tt dae, dere wasnt a speck of makeup on my face. i onli applied a mild lipstick. dis was cos i was meeting Michelle (my cousin), hu can b quite sloppily dressed sometimes. oops. hehe. h/w, i feel veri comfortable bside her. i spent quite a bomb shopping tt dae. i bought a pink jacket n a pink top costing $30+ each @ Top Shop. in addition, i bought another pink top @ a somewat high-class boutique called "Warehse". it was previously $73 but as it was on sale, i bought it 4 $49. as my heart was bleeding frm the $ spent, Michelle suggested i store the blouse 4 Chi New Yr. i thnk i may jus do tt, hehe. h/w, when i tld my younger bro, Kc, abt my decision later tt nite, he exclaimed "but it's only Oct/Nov now lei!" on the other hand, my youngest bro, Kt jus kept on "eeeeeing" @ all the clothes tt i had bought. irritating sia. hehe. oh yar, i bought a pair of earrings 4 $7 @ Bits N Pieces too. i thnk i may oso keep dose 4 Chi New Yr, haha. anywae, i'm looking 4 a nice white skirt 2match my pink blouse now. den on Mon, i went bck 2Maybank 2 wrk again. hehe. it was my 1st dae @ wrk, n i wore my new pink top tt i had bought @ Top Shop the dae b4 : ) i'll b wrking 4 2 mths dis time. i'll fill u'll in on the details of wrking in Maybank later... after wrk, i went 2meet up wif some of my SIM frens @ Cine's Tcc 4 a gossip, gals onli session. hee~ Qing, i tot u said u were going unless some urgent things cropped up? h/w, Xiaoai tld mi u din go tt dae cos it was raining. ???!!! hehe.we tok abt life n death, marriage n mani other things tt dae. i oso tld 'em tt i had bought a Chi New Yr clothe. as expected, they all went "hargh??!!" n "wat!" hehe. i went hm wif zombie eyes tt nite. ok, let's tok abt Maybank now... the moment i stepped into the Maybank office building in AMK, memories flashed bck in every corridors n turns tt i took, n i was filled wif emotions. Br, i miss u sooo much~ b4 when Br n i were wrking 2gether jus b4 we went 2SIM, we were in the CS dept. h/w now, i was posted 2 Siang Tong's dept, BPSS, under Vincent Ho. my job in BPSS is basically 2test the new system, BWCIF. i'm supposed 2update info in BWCIF n see whether it flows bck 2the original system, SEMA. the job is so seng nang (izzit spelt dis wae?) lor, i tell u'll. as every Mon, Wed n Fri, dere's dis batch run thingy, i basically zuo bo~ in the afternoon. actualli, even when dere's no batch run, i oso dun haf much things 2do. n guess wat, dere's going 2b a new temp 2join mi on dis cuming Mon. i'll haf even less wrkload den, if it can b any less. hehe. but mabbe the wrkload will get heavy soon cos my colleages r all veri busi. anywae, i hope the gal, Zane Quek, hu's joining mi on Mon, is a nice person whom i can click easily wif. den i'll haf a kaki 2accompani mi everytime liao~ hehe. i heard frm Vincent tt she's the same age as mi, studying in SIM like mi, n is recommended by Recruit Express Pte Ltd like mi too : ) b4 when i was wrking in the CS dept, i was sooo busi sia. my wrkload was so damn heavy everydae, so heavy until i dare nt. dun turn up 4 wrk everydae, cos i was afraid my wrkload wld pile up even higher, den i wld b buried under all the wrkload, haha. dere were 40+ custs hu wanted 2close their accs everydae lor. n i needed 2 search 4 files (i was the onli 1 hu knew the exact location of all the files den, so can u imagine if i dun turn up 4wrk?), handled basically all the ltrs n did other things. i always wrked OT 1 too. i was so used 2doing so mani things @ once, 2do 'em veri fast n efficiently, tt i haf a hard time doing my seng nang job now, haha. i guess i'm adapting now ba, but how cum it's such a great diff., on the opp. extremes lei? hehe. now, i can spend 1 hr staring @ the pc screen (i thnk my eyes' degree will bcum higher frm all the staring lor), drinking Milo, listening 2 mp3 n practically doing ntg. i go 2the toilet so mani times a dae cos i haf ntg else beta 2do. i feel so...... luckily, i oredi ask my other perm staff colleague, Lee Choo, 2gif mi something 2do liao. i feel so paiseh asking Vincent 4 more wrk everytime, cos he n the rest r all so busi, but i guess most of their wrkloads r not wat i can do 1. i remembered once it was 2wards the end of the dae, Vincent tld mi 2go 2 the toilet 2 da ban yi xia, den can get readi 2go hm liao. haha. he's such a joker, always hee-hee-haaing everywhere in the dept. hah. h/w, 1 gd thing abt dis job is tt i haf no pressure, no stress watsover. i feel @ peace. i dun haf 2worrie abt making mistakes cos it's all testing onli mah. dere r no consequences. oh yar, Vincent tld mi on my 1st dae tt mabbe i haf 2wrk OT sometime later, but i oso donno wat 2 OT abt lor, haha. i leave on the dot everydae. h/w, like i said, mabbe my wrkload will get heavier later. in CS, i had 2 walk ard the whole of lvl 3 2pass docs 2 other staffs n look 4 files (cos the files r everywhere ovr the place). now i need onli 2sit @ my desk can oredi. luckily, it's onli 4 2 mths, or else i'll rot in BPSS. haha. h/w, on another note, i feel veri hapi wrking in Maybank now. recently, i'm beginning 2haf feelings 4 Maybank le. haha. how? i scared i'll she bu de 2leave dis place in Dec. previously, i wanted ntg 2do wif Maybank again. when i knew i wld b returning 2Maybank 2wrk, dere was onli 1 word 2describe my feelings den, sian. h/w now, i donno leh...... it's all cos of the ppl i noe dere. they remember mi n r so glad 2see mi again. tks 2 Br, i get 2noe Alex too. Azlan actualli tot i had known Alex b4, tt he was my fren, haha. Jennifer oso said 2mi yest tt "wat goes ard cums ard", but i heck care abt Jennifer lah, haha. oh yar, Br, remember i tld u dere's dis temp Malay gal wrking in Card Ops, doing the COs thingy? she remembers mi liao, cos i went up 2her yest. seeing the smile on her face, i feel so hapi. hee~ i feel tt i practically noe everyone on lvl 3 lor : ) oh, n Azlan oso asked mi 2eat lunch wif him after his fasting : p ok lah, i thnk i beta stop here. actualli, i haf mani more things 2type, but i scared u'll dun feel like reading anymore, hehe. i stil havent tok abt the other things my Maybank colleagues said, my dad's new job, my hair's condition n my new korean drama vcd. i guess i'll update u guys another dae den. heh. ciao~ Posted by Jasmine Ho Si Hui at |
